Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how EMCI Engineering and Consulting Services Ltd. Co. ("EMCI", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the MyBusinessCard iOS application.

MyBusinessCard operates entirely on your device. We are committed to protecting your privacy, in this case, by not collecting any data at all.

Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. The app does not transmit any information to EMCI or any third party. Everything you enter, name, title, company, phone, email, website, photos, stays exclusively on your device.

How data is stored on your device

All data is stored locally using standard iOS storage:

• Card information is saved to UserDefaults, a standard iOS local storage system.
• Profile photos and logos are saved as JPEG files in the app's Documents directory.
• QR codes are generated on-device and cached in memory only.

This data is accessible only to the app and to you via standard iOS backups. We have no access to your backups.

Third-party services

MyBusinessCard uses zero third-party SDKs. Built exclusively with Apple's frameworks: SwiftUI, PhotosUI, Core Image, UIKit. We do not use analytics, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or social media SDKs.

Children's privacy

MyBusinessCard is not directed at children under 13. Since no data is collected from any user, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's data.

Your rights

Because all data is stored locally, you have full control at all times:

• Access and edit: All data is visible and editable directly within the app.
• Delete: Uninstalling the app removes all data from your device.

For users in the EEA (GDPR), California (CCPA), or Türkiye (KVKK): since we do not process your personal data on our systems, your data is entirely in your own hands.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated via an App Store update notice.
